This page explains how to delete your Flexbound account and the data associated with it. It applies whether or not you still have the app installed.
Delete from inside the app (fastest)
- Open Flexbound and go to Settings.
- Scroll to the account section and choose Delete account.
- Confirm. Deletion runs immediately: it removes your remote data and your account, then clears the data on your device.
This action cannot be undone. If you want a copy of your logbook, use Export in Settings before deleting.
Delete without the app
If you’ve uninstalled the app or can’t sign in, email us and we’ll process the deletion for you:
- Email: suolaraketti@proton.me
- Subject: Account deletion request
- Include: the email address associated with your Flexbound account
We may need to verify that you control the account email before deleting. We respond within a reasonable period as required by applicable law.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove from our active systems:
- Your account and sign-in identity
- Journal entries and raw notes stored in the cloud
- Workout, nutrition, bodyweight, and goal records
- Preferences and settings synced to your account
What may be retained, and for how long
- Backups and logs may persist for a limited period for security, abuse prevention, and legal compliance before being purged.
- Purchase records are retained by Apple/Google and as needed for accounting and fraud prevention. Manage subscriptions through your App Store account.
- Local data on your device is cleared by in-app deletion; if you only uninstalled the app, remaining local data is subject to your device’s OS behavior.
