Core and posture

A Pilates week with room to progress—and no inflated promises.

Flexbound uses Pilates for core endurance, posture, flexibility, and low-impact work, scheduled alone or around lifting and cardio.

How it builds

The planner starts with your practice.

The planner matches session duration and experience, prefers the goal tags that matter to you, and keeps the weekly dose recoverable. Pilates can carry the week for someone who loves it while the plan clearly states what it does and does not replace.

What shapes the week

  • Core, posture, balance, and low-impact tags guide selection
  • Time and experience filters are hard constraints
  • One or two weekly sessions fit cleanly beside lifting
  • Consistency precedes longer sessions or a level increase

Example, not prescription

ThuPosture and control30 min · moderate
SunMobility reset15 min · restorative

Your version changes with goal, experience, days, session length, equipment, and the other styles selected.

Honest limits

The plan says what this style cannot cover.

  • Pilates improves useful qualities but is not automatically progressive strength training.
  • Low-back-pain evidence does not make the app a treatment provider.
  • Equipment-dependent sessions disappear when the equipment is not declared.

Coming to iOS

Pilates belongs in your training record.

Flexbound builds around the movement you will actually do, then keeps the method, assumptions, and next decision visible.
